Overview

The product frame

One product connects the emotional event surface with the infrastructure needed to receive, process, organize, and publish guest photographs. Approved images become a responsive timeline grouped into event moments rather than a generic grid.

The Challenge

A shared event gallery must feel intimate for guests while safely handling uploads, processing states, access rules, and media delivery behind the scenes.

Keeping private event media out of public surfaces
Separating upload acceptance from image processing
Designing graceful loading and failure states
Delivering a polished gallery across screen sizes

Architecture

An editorial timeline with section-based storytelling, keyboard-accessible lightbox navigation, guest uploads, and a server/worker image pipeline built around Supabase storage.

Public event, gallery, and upload routes
Authenticated administration kept separate
API/worker boundary for image processing
Supabase-backed event sections and approved photos
Orphan-cleanup and operational runbooks
